In partnership with Montana Department of Transportation, Missoula and Ravalli Counties, Municipalities, and organizations in the greater Bitterroot Valley, we encourage anyone with an event planned on or along the Bitterroot Trail to submit their event to this calendar. We hope you will use this as a consolidated resource to publicize your events and help promote coordination between events to prevent over-scheduling of large group use of the trail or to assist in planning companion/complimentary events that would encourage users of the trail to participate in your events.
If you would like to have your event posted on this calendar, please review our "BTPA Policy - Event Posting & Sponsorships". click here to go to our event submission form. Please submit your event request at least 3 months in advance. We may not be able to post events with less notification time.

Lolo Peak Brewery in Lolo, MT2026 Annual Members' Meeting
Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance:
Spring is on the way! With that comes encouragement to get out and use our beautiful Bitterroot Trail to enjoy the Bitterroot Valley whether it be by walking, jogging, biking, skate boarding, horseback, or any other nonmotorized means.
In preparation for this year's enjoyment of the Bitterroot Trail, the Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance will be holding its Annual Members' Meeting on Monday, March 9, 2026 in person in the upstairs meeting room at the Lolo Peak Brewery. The meeting room will be available at 6:00 PM. We will call the Members' meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
BTPA will be providing appetizers in the meeting room beginning at 6:00. No-host beverages and additional food may be ordered from the Lolo Peak menu.
We will have a brief business meeting to accomplish the required tasks of approving board members for the next 3 years and providing attendees with an organization update and financial report from 2025. You do not need to be a member of BTPA to attend this meeting. However only members will be eligible to vote to confirm the board members for the coming year. You can become a member here on our website anytime before the meeting to be eligible to vote.
Our Bylaws set our Board at a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 9 Directors. The Bylaws also specify that directors will have 3 year terms with staggered terms to retain continuity.
The following list of candidates for BTPA Board of Directors and their city of residence will be added as their nominations are approved. There are 3 open positions on the Board of Directors. Nominees will be evaluated by the Executive Committee of the BTPA. The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors will select the 3 candidates and present a slate of the recommended candidates.

This is also an opportunity to determine if you would like to become a Board Member to help us move forward with improvements to the trail.
