I am excited to announce that Missoula Adventure Crew (MAC) is partnering with the Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance (BTPA) to host a community clean-up day for the Missoula-to-Lolo section of the Bitterroot Trail on Saturday, March 31st!
We will be performing trash pick-up from the Buckhouse Bridge in Missoula to the crossing of Ridgeway Dr. and Glacier Dr. in Lolo. Missoula County Parks & Trails has offered to lend us safety vests, and garbage bags. MAC will provide some light gloves, but if you have heavy duty gloves, please bring them.
We will have two meeting locations at 10 am to distribute supplies, split up the group, assign different sections of the trail and organize a shuttling plan. One at the south end of the Buckhouse bridge (the unofficial fishing access site), the other at Farmers' State Bank in Lolo. You will be contacted with details regarding where you should meet. We will then disburse and start clean up.
Jean with the Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance has graciously offered to host a chili feed after at her house for all volunteers!
You may still RSVP below until 12 noon on March 30. Please let us know if you will be able to participate so we can provide sufficient safety vests.
